Yosemite Park

Yosemite National Park holds a unique spot in the heart of nature enthusiasts. Not only because it is one of the largest national parks in the United States, spanning over 750,000 acres, but also because Theodore Roosevelt himself named Yosemite as one of the first national parks. His efforts to preserve the beauty and majesty of the American landscape started with Yosemite National Park.

Visitors to Yosemite National Park never run out of exciting activities. Numerous waterfalls sluice off the mountain sides, and Yosemite Falls, standing at 2,500 hundred feet tall, is the highest waterfall in North America. Hundreds of other waterfalls course over the park, making it one of the largest of these water phenomena in the world. Rock climbers around the world also seek out El Capitan, a rocky prominence that offers both novice and experienced rock climbers a unique climbing experience.

Whether visiting for a day or a month, Yosemite National Park contains enough unique features to entertain the entire family. And with its categorization as a protected World Heritage Site, you can enjoy Yosemite National Park for generations to come.
